((Note: This is my first attempt at writing in a stream of consciousness style. I've never written like this but here goes, I hope you enjoy, and I hope you don't have a hard time figuring out what's happening.))
Alright... here's the door to the cave which should lead down to Oranbega. Hmm it opened much too easily, I hope that doesn't mean something. Wow it's awful dark in here, gotta wait a sec so my vision can adjust.. there we go. Another cave. Fun. How many times have I had to come down here? They remind me so much of something... can't figure out what... wait what's that? Nothing... just a bug or something. No bother. My claws are as sharp as can be. Ow! Stupid sharp rocks... gotta watch my step, it's slippery. Glistening wet rocks, they're so pretty... why am I here again? Oh right another rescue of some poor citizen captured by the Thorns. Hmm the air is getting colder... well where'd that map go... ah... yes I should be coming to a section of Oranbega soon. A light? What is that? Washing out my night vision... ow, my eyes. Ok a live torch... that can't have been here long.
Hmm... I smell something in the air... brimstone I think Azuria called it. Magic stuff. Stuff I'll never even begin to understand... guard! Low roll, slice, OW that hurt. Stupid daggers... flame! ow! take that! Ugh. What the hell is THAT! Big demon guy... bring it on buddy... grrrrr claws aren't working too well... legs! go for the legs! That's it... and down he goes. Anyone else? Ok we're good... what is this thing? I wonder if there's any more? Down this hallway? Hmm air smells stagnant that way... go this way. Steps... so many steps...
Ok this is a big room. Wow... the colors! They put in a lot of work... beam of light... what is that? Let me hide behind this pillar and see what's going on. Hmm some kind of ritual. Of course. That green smoke never bothered me, just smelled really bad. Hey wait! There's that kid i'm supposed to save! Damn I hope I'm not too late. Ok lets see... five, six, seven... about 10. No problem... wait for the right moment... silent... quiet... watch the footsteps... watch that pile of rocks they could make noise... okay right above... steady... steady... NOW!!
One down! Next guy, stomach, legs! focus focus, dagger coming, DUCK! More flame, ugh my back! Ow! YOu pay now! focus... they can't touch me! Down you go, down you go, down you go. Ow! Grr that'll sting in the morning. Next? Mage! Come here! I hope that kid is alright, he's on the ground over there, what is that noise? Oh no... what is that?? Them?? More big demon guys! Alright bring 'em on... there's only three... wait.. behind! More! which way? Must run... can't get them all. Get kid. Kid wake up? Come on! Damn... he's heavy... oof! more coming... surrounded? Which way? Up? Can't jump with this kid on my back. Crap! They're close... run. Run run run run... whichwaywhichwaywhichway? Run! Kid getting heavy... fire! Protect kid! Arrrghh owwww my back! It burns!!! Ignore it! Keep moving! runrun run runnnn....
Getting dark... run. Cave slippery... exit? Which way did I come? Can't remember.. the pain. Kid? Wake up? They're coming... they're fast! I've never seen anything move so fast... must fight them. only way out is through. Safe spot... behind these rocks. You'll be safe kid, don't move. Okay boys let's fight!
You're a big one! Harder they fall so they say, OW OW OW quit with the fire! my poor fur.. focus focus focus focus... duck under and slice, there you go! God there's so many! Ow!! Burns... feeling weak. must keep fighting! Can't... give up... slice... that didn't work.. fire... the pain.. can't... see... gotta rest... just for a moment... sleep. so sleepy. .... ... fight... so many... help....... can't.......sleep now.... just want to sleep... floor cold... focus...
... what.... smoke..... trouble... getupgetupgetupgetup...can't move...pain....smoke.. closer...eyes...red eyes... looks like berries...berries... from the forest... trees.... what is that....sleepy, so sleepy. just gonna close my eyes... just for a minute... sleep.

Forest! I'm so happy! The trees, the grass! Wheee!! I love jumping from tree to tree.... racing along the ground... hunting small animals.... this is the life! A figure? In the distance... let's go see! Wet grass, belly is wet... but feels good. Gonna need a bath later. Figure? What... it's.. me. It's... talking? What? Dead? No. I'm not dead. Look at this place! What? Smoke cloud... I saw that before... somewhere... the eyes... yes... I saw that in my dream... what... it's... me! What ... what do you want? Who are you? I wonder if I can kill it if it comes to it. Entity? Summoned by Thorns. Figures. Where's the kid?! A trap? Bait? I don't believe it. I can't be captured that easily... but I was. What? Thanking me? for what! Let me out you freak! Let me out so I can get at you! No... eyes... flashing red what does that mean! The walls? Melting... trees? Where am I? Wakeupwakeupwakeup... this can't be real.... oh... a soft patch of grass... it's very soft. I think I'll lie down and rest... yes... ahhh! The sun... feels good on my belly. Is that laughing I hear? So faint... just birds. Rest... ahh relaxing... I miss this... I think... can I stay forever?
